A&K Tiny Homes is a small Canterbury-based team building Tiny Homes on Wheels from our home in Chertsey.
Every home is built right here in our yard, with our team involved from the steel frame through to cabinetry, fit-out and the finishing touches.
We focus on practical layouts, quality materials and giving our customers the freedom to make their tiny home genuinely their own.
We're not a production line. Each home is built one at a time, for the people who will call it home.
How We Got Here
A&K didn't start with tiny homes. Our background is in motorhomes, caravans, horse floats and trailers, where making clever use of limited space was part of the job long before we built our first tiny home.
Over the years our builds have changed, grown and evolved, and eventually tiny homes became the natural next step. They gave us the opportunity to take what we'd learned about compact living and combine it with something that feels much more like a home.
Today, A&K Tiny Homes is our focus, but the years of manufacturing before them are still very much part of how we do things
Built Our Way
We don't believe a tiny home should feel mass-produced.
While our layouts give you a starting point, the colours, finishes and details are chosen around the people we're building for.
Being a small team means we're involved throughout the build. It also means we can adapt, solve problems and make changes that simply aren't practical on a production line.
We've learned plenty over the years, and our homes continue to evolve with every build.
The goal remains simple: build a tiny home we'd be happy to live in ourselves.
